From the Pastor:  
   What a wonderful time to be part of the family of God 
and the Robinson Creek Baptist Church!
     John the Baptist said in John 3:30, "He must increase 
but I must decrease..." God is at work among us, and it’s 
amazing to see what He is doing when we simply get out of 
the way.
     As the Apostle Paul was headed back to Jerusalem for 
the Day of Pentecost he stopped in a little place called 
Miletus and called the elders of the church at Ephesus 
together. As he spoke to them he told them that although 
he was unsure of what was waiting for him there, he was 
going to Jerusalem because he was following the leading of 
the Holy Spirit, but he also told them that the Holy Spirit 
had warned him in every city that he had passed through 
that there was trouble waiting for him there. 
     In verse 24 he makes an amazing statement; he says, 
"But none of these things move me, neither count I my life 
dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, 
and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus 
to testify the gospel of the grace of God."
     If you will permit me to give you my translation of that 
verse, Paul said "I'm not going to let anything stand in my 
way, it's not about me, I'm going to do what God called me 
to do and I'm going to be who God called me to be, I'm going 
to tell the world about Gods amazing grace shown through 
His Son, the Lord Jesus!"
      With all that I am, I believe that's the attitude we have 
to have. It's not about us, and I believe we have to come to 
the mindset that we're not going to let anyone or anything 
stand in our way of finishing the job God left us here to 
finish; telling the world the Good News about Jesus. We have 
to focus our attentions on things of eternal value and depend 
on God to handle the rest. 
     It's a wonderful time to be one of God's children, and to 
have an assurance that He has a specific plan and purpose for 
each and every one of us! It's my prayer that you find that 
plan and purpose that God designed especially for you and 
that nothing gets in your way of being who God saved you to 
be!
