Do You Know Jesus?

The Josh Martin Band: “What I Couldn’t Do”

There is very little in this world that comes to us for free…and while that is true, salvation is one thing that is free to anyone and everyone who would ask Jesus to come into their hearts and be their personal Lord and Savior. However, we must always remember that  our salvation came at a high price to Jesus as He  gave His life to pay for our sin by being crucified on that cross on Calvary. Anyone who accepts what Jesus did for them, and turns away from the world and to Jesus and commits to live their life for Him, receives that amazing salvation and the hope that it brings!

The Bible tells us several very important things…

First…it tells us that all people are sinners;

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of  God.”

…it also tells us that sin has consequences…it leads to death;

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

…it goes on to say that God loves us and that He provided a way for us to be saved;

Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

 …it also says that salvation is available to all who believe in Jesus;

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

 …it helps us to understand that salvation comes through believing in Jesus and confessing Him as Lord;

Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Again, very little in this world is truly free, but God gives us the gift of eternal life, and through His Word shows us how simple it really is. Every question can be answered in His Word, and every problem can be solved in His Word. We invite you discover true wonder of our Lord Jesus today!
